Eat, Pray, Love : Hawaii. Getting There

Getting to the destination is half the fun.
How many people can I meet on my way out of LA, on my way to Hawaii?

Let's talk about my Uber Ride and Driver, Tina.  Warm and cool.  She assured me we'd get to the airport in plenty of time when she picked me up from my hip, trendy hotel on Sunset Blvd.

Than there was Jarrad and Sarah, a couple from Australia getting married in Vegas.  I quickly had a new found lease on true love. Their courtship so sincere and sweet.  They were best friends. In love and prepared for a happy future together.  They were a fabulous, exceceptional cool couple.

Tina and I were the only ones who knew they were getting married in a just a mere few days.  It instantly brought a comradery to the entire Uber ride share.

Tina was one of those women who operated on zero judgements and enjoyed her life with a full, caring heart.  She was planning to move to Portland, ready for a change from the LA hustle and bustle.  She had two amazing kids, mostly all grown up. I could tell she was truly proud of them.

We dropped the soon to be newlyweds off and they too had my blog info. I had annouced they'd be making a guest appreance in my upcoming blog post.

Tina and I made our way to LAX. Tina and I exchanged numbers because we liked each that much and I'll be texting her this blog link.   Our timing could not have been any better.  I was able to snag the best exit row on the flight, probably because I got to the airport only an hour before departure.

Next I met Gretchen and her husband, Jack. She was sitting next to me in the exit row. I was able to scoot over to the empty seat with no seat in front, and she and I had a middle seat between us.  Talk about unlimited leg room!!

Gretchen was exactly the person I needed to cross paths with.  She booked the same vacation I did at the same hotel.  Something about her, made me think, kindred spirits for sure.  She and I talked non stop for 3 hours straight.  I am sure we drove the surrounding passengers nuts laughing and sharing our lives.  We left ourselves 2 hours to watch movies silently for the remainder of the five hour flight to Kona, Hawaii.

I haven't even reached my destination and feel like I have had this trip full of warm people ready and able to share so much of who they are.

Early in the day, I did some sightseeing to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  I ate super healthy and walked back 45 minutes to my hotel because I could. How my day began and how it ended were a million miles apart.

What you put out in the Universe you get back ten fold.  Happy begates Happy.  Care for Care.  Love to Love.  Kindness releases kindness.

Give what you want to receive.  It will always come directly back to you.  I guarantee.
